Ingredients
- 3 cups of nuts (you can use whichever you like here, but I am fond of combining pecans, macadamia nuts, and maybe even a few hazelnuts!)
- 3/4 cup raw cacao powder / unsweetened cocoa powder (Cacao is by far better for you, but if you like a little extra chocolate-y flavoe you can mix 1/4 cup cocoa with 1/2 cacao)
- 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
- 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted)
- 1 tsp vanilla
- pinch of sea salt
- 2-3 TBSP Xylitol or maple syrup, or a few drops of liquid stevia
- 1/4 cup cacao nibs
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a food processor until well-mixed and crumbly (But should stick together when pressed – can add a little extra water if it’s not quite gooey enough). Press into the bottom of a baking dish and let sit in the fridge for a few hours to get firm. Slice and enjoy! (Store in the fridge or freezer)
Notes
- These brownies can be quite delicate, but as long as you keep them cool they will hold up.
